Varmonte is the biggest city in New Orphidian by a long shot, but not that much bigger than the city on the mainland it took it's name from. Still, its skyscrapers impose. With a distinctly bustling financial district, the port is almost an afterthought in the current year.
By far the tallest building in the city is Roslariot HQ. Which makes sense, as they are a multi-sector conglomorate that owns what feels like half of the other businesses that surround it.
The empty offices of shell companies are not an uncommon sight, nestled between and below the mixed-zoning housing that fill the side-roads. It's not the worst city in the world, but it's not anywhere near the top of any tourist's to-visit list.
